What is no one talking about this disgraceful attempt at playing the ball for souths first try??

Facing sideways and steps over the ball

should have been a no try!

Yeah, even my wife jumped up from the couch and yelled, "That's not a play the ball!" Standing at a right angle, no attempt to use the foot.

There were a couple more of them in the game (and the one that followed), but obviously the refs were told to "let the game flow" and it was never going to be blown. But I will be filthy if those aren't penalised from here on in. Virtually impossible to set your defence against that.

Wow I missed it. Clearly so did the ref.

We were watching it at the local a bloke after 10 scooners even saw it.

Saab dropped the ball clear as day and the ref's missed it, turbos second try was a try in my opinion, they spent 5 mins trying to find something with the obstruction, then one look at the grounding. The officials had a bludger of a game, but we won and damn its good to be back!

When Saab made the break and was ankle tapped, he lost momentum and got tackled then seconds later Mitchell came in with the flop, should have spun it left but DCE made the wrong decision and bombed a certain try.
