Now Fittler wants to go back to the bad old days whereby NSW pick a bunch of plodders. I think you’ll find Haas defending 3 in on Ponga was where that mistake was made. Not much a winger can do defending two players. Not to mention the poor defence in the lead up. Toupou was impeccable and we would have been WAY worse off without him there tonight.

we needed both really. We were missing close to our best two players from last year. Add them in and I think it’s a different outcome.
