I still think Roberts is a waste, maybe Cotric is better in D

Jake was solid as a rock, worked hard and his defense was awesome.

I think that moving Tommy into center and Cotric to the wing would be awesomesauce... but atm it ain’t exactly broke so no need to fix!

Can't wait for the Courier Mail tomorrow ... worlds against Qld etc. NSW good, solid game both teams. Qld lateral movement something Manly should look to implement, was excellent. NSW not allowed to dominate through the middle. Good play both sides. NSW deserved victors in a tight one.

Congratulations Blues, well played and a well deserved victory. Qld stuffed it in the last 10mins with awful kicking from Hunt and Chambers, when they were a man up. A goal kicker would've helped too. And yes it will still be DCE's fault because if he hadn't backflipped on the Titans he would've been in the team/Squad for the last 3 years and ready to take over when the old guard retired but oh no, they had to throw poor Hunt in at the deep end, thanks for nothin DCE. Unfortunately I could actually see the knobs at the Courier Mail writing that.

Tallis should come out an say that Hunt isn’t a big game player (like he did for DCE), now that he’s lost a gf and origin series. Jake was first and second receiver quite a lot tonight. Love to see him play that role with us.

i can't wait for sunday, i just won 2 tickets with coach transfer from a local radio station. this is virgin territory for me as I've never been to an origin game before & only been to the stadium to watch the paralympics

what a day/night!
there were 10 of us(5 winners with a guest each) who won tickets with kofm newcastle(little plug there!) plus 2 people from kofm. i was expecting a 13 seater bus or similar.....
nope, a full size coach!
with a toilet!
for 12 passengers!!!!
1 bloke is a queenslander so we warned him before leaving that if qld win he will spend the trip home in the luggage area!
we were seated behind the goal posts at the opposite end to blatcheys blues(what a sight they were, all 14,000 of them) which was the end the game finished at.
if i was to complain about anything it would be the choice of beer there - iron jack,
whats that saying - when you have lemons make lemonade? i made do with canadian club.
as for the experience,due to how the game unfolded i got to feel all types of emotion, and late in the game the stress levels were definitely up!
the final minute was awesome as the knock on happened the place erupted in noise as everyone knew we had won
i also got great enjoyment from watching this young bloke in front of who celebrated when qld scored show his frustration when we got in front, at one point he began to clench up his hands & his his whole body contracted(i thought he was about to go into the foetal position!),poor bugger didn't even stay for the finish
