The son of a former Australian Rugby League executive chairman has emerged as a surprise candidate for the vacant Manly CEO position.
The Daily Telegraph understands Stephen Humphreys, whose father Kevin held the ARL's top job for a decade, is being discussed by Manly powerbrokers for the premier administration role at Brookvale.
The appointment of Humphreys; a former Wests Tigers chief executive - is far from being finalised but Manly is close to announcing a new CEO.
