So what signalled the change

yesterdays game 15 - 20 minutes in, manly lead by 8 and the first 4 kicks by cherry and hodko were good , real good with one of the best being on 4th tackle. We played for field position, looked as though we had a plan and some kind of idea of what it takes to turn things around. We also got the first 2 penalties which helped

And then as if a switch was hit we became cllueless, our kicks became the laughing stock as some comentators mentioned the only thing missing was the benny hill soundtrack to accompany.

So do we have the concentration span of door knob or is our gameplan just ****. So was the team instucted to put the big boy pants on for 20 minutes before Reverting to the same old.

I need to know if cherry is ignoring trent or is trent too soft or
Is our coaching method amateur
And are there any other options i am not considering

Find the answer and sack the culprit. I know stability is a good thing but you dont keep rotten fruit in the fruit bowl as it spreads and infects the lot. And we look infected

Momentum completely swung when we took the 2 points.
Warriors on a bin warning, we were on fire, 10m out full set, with all the momentum.
We take the 2 ( and with it a pessimistic defensive mindset) and only started playing footy again with 10 mins to go.

Agree on that decision but why should that stop us from kicking long and smart to looking for touch 8 m away

We go to **** when the heats on . Years gone by we would lead by 16 , give a try away then come back and punish them . This has to all start within the coaching staff . Come on, Barrett got slapped from Brown for not following instructions and i would love to see him slap Toovey or Hasler . Here we're i think most of the problem lies . Its not lack of ability , we hammered two of the heavyweights . Dce makes some decisions in play that has us scratching our heads , but you dont just lose ability. This goes deeper.

This x 10 - summed up perfectly

Api is a vital part of our team. He does the most tackling, is a schemer and a motivator. In the team we currently have he is just about irreplaceable.
I fear for what will happen with him missing.

Api's injury was the turning point, before that time we were on the front foot and positive in everything we did, after he went off, we got into a dreadful mindset of negativity and submission and we were badly exposed by a committed opponent. The resilience from last year is gone and this team rolls over far too easy!!

Yep. Tough tackling opportunistic player who can inspire but has an average passing game and zero kicking game. Important yes but should not be a lynchpin with that skill set.

Hookers with good kicking games are priceless. Hodgson and Smith are prime examples..They are like an extra half and with our kicking game being so terrible it would be a nice option to have.eg. Smiths kick just after half time against Broncos today was a game changer.

Barrett raves about how it’s such an important position and how much we lose when the little fellas out.So how many specialist hookers do we have in our top 30 now that such an important position is vacant? None. He couldn’t wait to get rid of Parcell.Fantastic roster management.A Winger to 9 against the top side next week.

We lose so much not only because APi is the solid player he is , it’s because there is NO ONE ELSE.It is a total joke.
