I know there is the other game round 3 thread but I thought this deserved it's own thread.

I hope some of boys were just watching that match between the warriors and raiders. Firstly so enjoyable to watch fast hard running teams play actual footy compared to our slow boring and uninspiring play.

But the main reason I want to make this thread is about desire and hunger. Raiders with 3 gone had no right to be as close as they got and apart from rts save they would of won ( dont start me on the forward pass try to the warriors).

Both teams played with desire and pride for their jumper. I hope a few of our boys were watching that and have a good hard look at themselves to see what a having a go and playing for your club looks like.

Both teams have also adapted to the new rules with hard runners with footwork, not plodders hahaha!

The Raiders were also badly robbed in that one.

What's sad is that the whole team are really mediocre but give the fans a few hard runs, and a pinch of effort and you're suddenly a star. Forget the fact that most other teams just do that naturally and for 80 minutes. Its easy to look like a superstar when everyone else around you is ordinary and you just happen to nit drop a ball and make a dismal amount of metres. Would any of the current Manly boys get a walk in spot, in a team of consistent performers. I doubt it, not one single one of them.

I have a great idea. We think Paseka, Sipley and Keppie are all great props, surely the warriors would not only pay us but give us Addin to get Paseka, but just a straight swap for the other 2.
