Manly have been big on either hitting the ball up to the outside runner 1 off the ruck, or shifting the ball to an outside runner directly off the halves.
There were some simple, subtle changes on Sat that paid dividends.
2 tries to Lawrence and Hastings were perfect simple drop off plays to a man running the inside lane....and the inside options in general against Cows created plenty of damage.
Mixing up the inside ball is a must and stops that clunky outside play that becomes predictable, sideways and takes space off the wide attack.
Nothing tricky but tests those lazy/tired inside defenders and look forward to more of this in 2017.

Sounds like the sort of thing that would work well against the dogs late in the half.
Dessie will be on to it by now so subtly change it up again.

Spot on Woodsie - makes it so much hardly to rush and close down.

Also have the turbos trying to link again

I'm not listening until Technical Coach tells me this.
