Just my opinion feathered friend and passionate Manly fan Maxta

When you break a player in two and lay them down you only get the job half done unless you also break his spirit

Enforces like Ian Roberts got the job done as this photo demonstrates ,
First he snaps the dragons players spine in two and then he breaks his spirit as well with a soft word in his ear ;)

Love the Monster hitters like Cement, Carroll, Gillespie and co Bozo....even the 1 liners that follow with the victim dazed on the turf.
But don't feel this is anymore intimidating than the quiet assassin, who is simply a powerhouse bull that breaks spirits at maybe a deeper level, than a shot followed by sledging.
Almost like 2 Massive dogs in the yard of equal power.
There is the standover, constantly making noise with the ability to back it up.
But the scarier 1 for me, is the quiet 1 making no noise, that has zero emotion and just destroys anything in it's way....and that was Ward.

Geoff Gerrard also , easy to overlook a couple of notables but Gerrard should definitely be on the list for his efforts and good rating

Not having a go at you Woodsie by including a couple of more suggested candidates , as of course you have gone to quite a bit of trouble to start these types of interesting threads. I just thought of them randomly and mainly after the reference to Herman Hamilton Dave Brown may have briefly been a rep prop as well but would not place him in any preferred or proposed list category here .

I considered Gerrard, Perry and Bella but you can only fit so many in the poll ... wait til we get to the centres ... some outstanding players may miss the cut ...

The tribe has spoken, and our 1st inductee to the Silvertail's team of the half century is Max Krilich at hooker with % of the votes.

Now it get's a bit harder, Prop. The difficulty will be limiting the choices to ... I am sure I will be censured for leaving some out. Players such as Terry Randall, that played a significant numbers of games at both 2nd row and Prop will be included as options for both positions .... JHW was left out because of too few games ...

You can tick 2 boxes for your 2 choices ..
Sorry not sure I can agree with Igor being listed as a Prop. He might have played there but he is our greatest Second Row bar none. I would guess that in the team of the Century he was named in the Second Row and so if he is the best ever according to more esteemed judges than me - not sure how you can decide that somehow he is a better prop and deserves a spot as a prop. He simply isn't one of our best prop's - there were better specialists than him at that position.

Great, if he doesn't make prop, you can vote for him in the 2nd row. and I didn't decide he was a better prop, I simply listed him in a position he played a lot ...

This is not a team selection ... it is voting for players in the positions they played ..

Should I list Jamie Lyon as a centre or 5/8 ... should I list Bobbie Fulton as a centre or 5/8 ..

This is just a bit of fun and conversation piece during the off season ... we are not playing for cattle stations ..

Hope not , more comfortable with sheep stations

I see your Dallas Rennie and raise you a Nate Myles. Rennie was a mythical beast, Myles was a proven flop.
True....I could throw down with Andy Goodway, but even he outshone Natenstein....you have me by a clear KO in this bout....

Hard choice. Had to go for Roberts and Ward. To me they had some extra skills as well as being tough as nails. Very hard to leave out Lurch, Spud, Harves....could go on and on.......
