Should Turbo/DCE Play State of Origin?

This comes up every year with Tom’s injury issues, but I think it’s more prominent than ever this year with DCE leaving at season’s end.

I do't think manly will have a single representative in Origin 1. Bold call. But i think Guac will not make the bench, Jake is done, and both DCE and Tom are out of form/injured.

Sad really.... when was the last time we didn't have a single player in either squad?

Dce will absolutely play if selected. Selfish is the only thing he does consistently

Tom needs to sting some games together and really should lighten his load and not play to give his body half a chance

Jake would not get selected in a third string origin team

Hudson young will get haumole spot, both in form but young has been incredible.

Origin period is our last chance to make up the ground we have lost, if the team even wants to do that

Agree, just on Jake, Toovey on 360 had Jake in his NSW side. Everyone laughed at this.

Not all the same, but they all value Origin above Manly. To them, it is the pinnacle.
I can't say that is wrong, it is just utterly not my values.
All want to play Origin and will play if selected. If not selected, it will be due to injury or poor form, so it doesn't help us. We are likely to suffer either way.

We have no byes during origin games either, would be huge for our chances of top 8 if they both didn’t play & we picked up 3 wins against weaker teams

Tom shouldn’t play , Jake won’t get picked , the Dollar Chaser will be given a swansong farewell and as you know he LOVES his $$$$, and couldn’t give a **** about Manly so he’ll play for sure.

As good as the players are listed above if he is fit Turbo is better than any of them (of course if fit)

As for Jake it depends on the game plan. Madge was pretty clear that he was on to start the game and do the tackling / work for Payne Haas and other forwards. Anything after that was a bonus

To me Jake is one of the first players that they should pick at least for game 1

As for Gauc in such a tight game he is a game breaker…crazy to not have him
