Agree that we had plenty of "poor" efforts tonight but that was largely the result of players being gassed after having to defend set-after-set because of the ridiculous refereeing...

Some of those ruck "infringements" at 16-0 were plain embarrassing and then the refs never let us back in the game until it was 30-16...

Yes, our defence was a bit ordinary early on but that refereeing would have resulted in a 60-16 scoreline against anyone but the tigpies... Bullemore 10 min was result of ridiculous ruck calls, Guac 10 was shoulder on shoulder and should not even have been a penalty and Waddell 10 was probs fair enough but damage was done...

Disagree. No excuse for losing against the bottom team with so much motivational material to play for. Just my opinion

Fair enough but they are human and endurance has limitations... they got within a pass of pulling it out - mainly cause the tigpies are sh*t...

Could you imagine Bellamy saying that and excusing a Storm performance based on that? Seriously? This is what we need to rise to.

Yeah, we are not there and I dont see us being there for some time to be honest...
We have players that are "talented" but not consistent...
Is that the coach's fault? Maybe... we have had a few coaches though and got similar results... Is it injuries? Maybe... Brooks is the only player that has played every game this year...
Dunno but we are not at the storm's level right now... too many errors, too many lazy plays (not just tonight)...

Agree on the refereeing it was hard d to fathom a few of those decisions, though there was no sting in the tackling early on or through out that 80 minutes.

Not one middle put in, the club would be most disappointed with the attitude and efforts of the forwards, if it wasn’t for Turbo it could have been a blowout.

Yeah, totally agree... I just reckon the pack was stacked against them tonight...

They still had the opportunity to get the job done and they were not composed enough to pull it off... but I reckon fatigue played a large part in that...

Agree that they are not anywhere near the riff or the drizzle though...

In attack, he nearly won the game for Manly, singlehanded. In defence, at least one effort that stopped a certain try.

And by contrast tonight, Crichton's shoulder connects with RTVS in a tackle & he gets........ put on report! RTVS is ruled out for the rest of the match. This is the inconsistent BS that has permeated our refereeing ranks in recent weeks.
