Self Preservation

    After the first two rounds I see a trend emerging that I am very pleased about.

    1. Foran isn't being so kamikaze and is preserving his body. I think his form is much better for it.

    2. Wolfie is similarly being much smarter with his kick return runs and seems to be avoiding his usual "Karmichael Hunt" style crashing into the defence. He seems just as effective but now should avoid injury.

    3. Brett seems to be carrying an injury, but he too seems to be avoiding the unnecessary heavy contact.

    This is a very smart footy team.

      Agreed, I was impressed with a couple of Wolfy's kick returns where he used some swerve & step to make good metres.

      One change in style of Foran is the ramping up of his sidestep - at pace. They can't hit ya big if they don't know where ya'll be.

      I also noticed DCE and Foran playing both sides of the field at times linking with each other.

      It's good to have 2 halves that tackle like back rowers yet still the best attacking pairing in the game.
