Best centers in the game have always been classy and smart. Lyon, O'Conner best examples. Tom Wright and a focused more mature Dylan Walker would be great but Wright has defensive issues and Dylan needs to get the trash talk crap out.

Let’s be fair dinkum Kelly has serious defensive issues backpedaling in defence too often and Suli’s reads are awefull. Our back line defence has been earful at times.!

Manus team sits 1st, best team in the comp and he has played 1 more game so far yet Kelly sits 15th and has played 1 less game and beats him in most statistics. I rest my case Kelly is in a basket case and is better then Manu.

Stats aren't represented as truth when defining a footballer. He is in a team coming first so doesn't get as much opportunity with the ball coz the chooks are widely talented squad. Kelly prob has more touches in his game due to one out running from our own end in which manly seems to do every game. Hence the more metres. Manu has more tackle busts and better defense thus far. Assists and breaks are practically even. Manu has more quality physical attributes then Kelly also.. speed, size and height. Manu in my mind is better. Also cronk has a short and Sharp game/ mentality. Manu opportunities more often then not would come off keary and we both know.cronk is the orchestrator. Hence why latrells side is favoured. Common sense in that really. Kelly is our preferred centre and side in attack

I can see your point that Manu is stronger and faster .
Strength and Speed dominates in the NRL .

I’ll also throw in that Brian Kelly looks silky ****in smooth when he does good things. And a fair number of supporters on this forum have been frustrated this season that he doesn’t get enough ball. More ball = better stats

Its hard for Kelly to show the full extent of his talent, when Turbo runs the whole left edge into touch 90% of the time, or throws the 2m foward speccy to the winger.

Let's see how he goes next season with hopefully some better coached plays for the team.

Kelly also has something like 30+ touches this season over Manu. In which i alluded to earlier
