Sam Harris

Canteen Worker

First Grader
Today marks exactly a year since the bubble burst on Sam Harris. This time in 2004 he was everybody's hero and a popular pick in the City Origin team. Sadly his form deteriorated just after his resigning and a back injury meant his back end of the season was miserable. (It also caused an entertaining stoush between Sue Ridgepipe and Haig Kaiserian, which in part ended due to later nonsense in Daniel setting up AE)

With Manly's injury crisis it is now time for the real Sam Harris to stand up. He should have extra minutes on the field and the time is ripe for him to get back to his best.

There have been positive signs and I thought his form in the last 20 against the Broncs was good.

The fine sign is that he is demonstrating ball playing skills and putting those around him into gaps. As an ex rep Centre he should be able to utilise those skills. Hopefully his mobility will improve - following the determined example of Choc and Beaver, who have been sensational.

He had a blinder, he stood up and played well in both attack and defence!.
