Anything positive to say? Always moaning about coaching etc. yet is the coach the one out there not carrying out game plans? Maybe everyone should go & the club starts fresh!

It's getting pretty hard to see how we will win a premiership with Siebold as coach, we keep losing games that we really should win. I'd take Arthur over Siebold, but I'd also happily give Ballin a crack if he was prepared to move back down here. We should have kept Flanagan.

Yes! But why is the coach always to blame for inept performances by players? This all comes down to management & who they decide to chase & sign up. I highly doubt Siebold has much of a say! Trbo, Jrbo, DCE contracts have fu<ked our salary cap & we’ve had to scrape the barrel for players!

If the coaching is our issue then bring back Toovey! Des got a second chance so why not Tooves?

Mate, you can't just excuse the coach. It doesn't work that way in any professional team sport. Have a look at the Premier League, NFL, NBL, AFL etc. The buck stops with the coach.

All off season Siebold went on about closing the gap to the top 4. He bought a bunch of old forwards by his own choice claiming they would add experience and competition for spots. He didn't bother signing a backrower even though we desperately need at least one more. It hasn't worked, we have gone backwards with a bullet. We won't win a comp with a coach who has never experienced winning in any grade during his coaching career.

I reckon Seibs thought he had a good spine with Turbo, Brooks, DCE, and Croker as the no frills hard head. He tried to put a bit of experience around that core and hope to Melbourne and extract the best out of journeyman.

Seibold can’t coach for sh1t, his clueless, I can’t for the life of me understand what those who defend him see, I feel embarrassed for our club when I listen to him talk, his presser tonight was cringeworthy, no wonder the players can’t get up, Siebs would have to be one of the most uninspiring coaches to have ever stepped foot in our club and yes I remember Peter sharpe, Tbaz, but this guy takes it to a new level.

I know you love Manly mate. We can get frustrated and turn on each other after a crap loss. Yes, I agree with the other things you have highlighted in this post. They contribute as well. But after last season to fall away so badly, and with Siebold signing more players, he has a case to answer as well. I don't think he is a very good coach. I never have.

The players are to blame also but we need to get the correct coach and let that coach clean out the roster and rebuild. The problem is most have no confidence in seibs to do the rebuild.
