So Seibold said when his contract was extended last year he had no intentions of staying on after 2027. Bizarre.

Strange isn’t it? I can’t believe they’d extend a guy that doesn’t see himself coaching in a couple years. They must have a very high opinion on Ennis is all I can think. Possibly wanted him to get more experience as an assistant first with the plan of him being a long term coach.Yesterday's Tele have
Powderpuff Seibold.

Maybe the catering budget at 4 Pines Park can only take the hit for another couple of years…Well **** me ........ on NRL 360 they just said Seibold only wants to coach for another 2 years and then go into management.
I think the plan was in a perfect world Ennis assistant coach 26 & 27 before taking over. But of course with these results that’s going to shake things up as Seibold could be gone a lot sooner.Ennis isn't even a full time assistant. He doesn't want to be a career coach either.
We need a coach that lives and breathes coaching.
I mean it is insane. He hasn't coached anywhere at a top level full time. It is true to form and it is he budget style coach that the Penn family would go for.Ennis isn't even a full time assistant. He doesn't want to be a career coach either.

How low can we go ?Well **** me ........ on NRL 360 they just said Seibold only wants to coach for another 2 years and then go into management. The succession plan is Mick Ennis.
Crazy...... what a basket case club we are.
I wouldn’t be taking too much out of that conversation as gospel. The Ennis link was just Buzz with a puff piece to enhance his Fox colleague and the Seibold “management” was just a throw away line that may or may not even be Seibold’s thoughts now anyway.Seibold has to get through the next 2 and a half yrs first before thinking about the futureWell **** me ........ on NRL 360 they just said Seibold only wants to coach for another 2 years and then go into management. Makes sense. Inspirational leadership right there. Sorry guys, I’m out of here in a couple of years. But don’t worry, I’ve already found my successor.Well **** me ........ on NRL 360 they just said Seibold only wants to coach for another 2 years and then go into management. He talks good though, which probably appeals.I mean it is insane. He hasn't coached anywhere at a top level full time. It is true to form and it is he budget style coach that the Penn family would go for.
I get the impression Ennis really wants to be the NSW SOO coach, so he probably just sees this as padding out his resume for that gig down the track.Ennis isn't even a full time assistant. He doesn't want to be a career coach either.

That sounds almost too absurd to be true. But unfortunately, it probably isn’t. I bet Bennett, Bellamy and Cleary don’t hand out documents to their players, rather than talking to them like men.Yikes!
The coach handed each player a document, outlining his concerns with their performances this year.
Manly sources with knowledge of the situation talking on the condition of anonymity due to confidentiality said Seibold’s approach upset certain sections of his team, who were critical of the coach providing criticism and few solutions.
And a ringing endorsement from the CEO…
Manly CEO Tony Mestrov said Seibold wasn’t under any pressure, for now, and the club was determined to get back to winning ways.
“At the moment, Seibs is safe at this point,” Mestrov said.
