Great job, Hopoate. He is nowhere near the player who first played origin years ago. How he is in the team still is beyond me. That is a case of selectors choosing players based on a reputation and image rather than the reality.

A few square up penalties to Qld and they draw level then take the lead.

One thing I've noticed so far. After the NSW penalty goal the Qld line in the first few hit ups of the next NSW set seemed to get to the advantage line almost as the ball was still in the air from dummy half. Offside much? No call though.....

one off hit-ups is not gonna cut it, NSW. You need to run forward in packs and stop the QLDers from picking off easy targets for gang tackling. Sheesh, origin has become a conservative safe boring game.
