I would love to see a no-nonsense referee in the game who calls it straight and has the balls to stand by his decision. Contemporary refs appear wishy washy and too easily swayed by agendas. There is a growing tendency in NRL for refs to be influenced by player behaviour and it's very, dare I say, "unaustralian". We are looking more like European football with the amount of diving, staying down for replays, and haranguing refs to get into their psyche. It's sickening and saddening to watch.

The sooner ch 9 loses the rights to League and the cricket the better. The commentary is farcical.

Don't want to appear up myself by quoting myself but another reason why ch 9 needs to lose the rights is because of its refusal to broadcast in HD. Arrogant prick of a station!

In the end it was too easy for Qld. BUT, and I don't want to appear ungracious in defeat, it was all over from the biased coverage from Nein, the Hodges love-fest game lead-in from one of the dirtiest players in the history of Origin, to the command of chant 'Queenslander' from every quarter, then the completely loaded ref decisions for the first 40 minutes that destroyed what might have been a contest. They got penalties, we got tough **** and play the ball.

The game is controlled by the men in pink. Usually it is a small impact but significant, to the other end of the spectrum where it is devastating as it was tonight. Congrats Qld but it was handed to you like I have rarely seen in the history of big games.

Seriously wanted NSW to win but they haven't got the team. Cannot just win with spoiling tactics the whole time. Couldn't believe the NSW media circus after they won in game two.
