Interesting to read in RLW just how close we were to getting Sam Burgess a few years back. Beaver had been in his ear at Bradford about coming to Manly but before we got it done Souths swooped in and Crowe paid the big transfer fee that cash strapped Bradford wanted
Yes he could have been a hero instead of a filthy cat 😉
