Ryans Weekly Stats (Update)

Don't see the comedic value in that? Like I say, I was just obliging / assisting people who asked me to do this, this season?

Not sure why I deserved a spray for the most boring, nerdy post, and that I'm anorak (which is British slang mind you).

I don't share info I get here anymore. I'm not going to bother with this either now. Sorry, everyone else. People can do their own research if they are interested.
Man, I selll Anorsaks in my shop and only girls or inner westies buy 'em. Ryan's post is not anorak.

Woops, that's bad Ryan rearing his angry head. Don't take one negative comment personally....breath champ and keep up the good work

@Ryan please ignore the opinion of one person! The majority rules and we say please continue to share the interesting info, which is much appreciated

It's going to be interesting to see if we watch the decline of each team during the year. After all we on this site are masochists!

Yes, I was enjoying reading the stats @Ryan . It is a good way to gauge how the team and club are going across all grades. I hope you will reconsider and continue to post them.

Don't be so precious, he said it was tongue in cheek and apologised. Plenty of others interested, so let's go......to use one of your expressions ..... LIFT !!!! be the man.

Ryan, I would be interested in learning who are the most penalised teams. I'd imagine we'd be vieing with Easts for that dubious honour, again.
It seems to me that we are always among the most penalised clubs. Surely this is not part of the Manly coaching philosophy, so why is it a recurring trend? Players and coaches change and so should penalty counts. If they are constant then it can only mean a referring bias against us in general.

Thanks Ryan. The Stats Master.
Bears out my theory that we are among the most penalised clubs. However, the two most penalised teams are leading the comp. Interesting. I reckon a lot of them are deliberately conceded when they are trying to defend their goal line.
What has happened to the call for a five-minute sin bin. It has gone quiet, although I think this is one rule that is needed.

Don't overlook how many penalties are given away within a few tackles when a team is defending their line.
Often a team gives a couple away within two or three tackles but this doesn't feel like a great advantage to the attacking team.

I spent a while tying to find a record of individual game penalty counts for the last season or so...the point being I would be very interested to see how many we have won in recent times. Guessing it is sweet F A...

We'll be able to build on that nicely.
The Reggie's were dragging the chain but played good last week and are on the improve.

I'd rather a 5 minute powerplay tbh which would be one player sent for 5 or comes back on immediately after the other team scores
