No idea what his contract situation is, but **** he impressed me today ! If the cap comes in low as is being reported, I'd be happy with us to sniff around with an offer that is slightly overs to help ease their pressure

Strong carries with nice footwork and a little bit of skill in him, defends well too, would be a great addition to our weakest area

I keep thinking he's just a filler for the rorters although he is genuinely a really good player. Surprising stuff from him, very good

Good player, played juniors at 6 so can ball play and kick. I would take him, we are in need of a ball playing backrower down dces edge.

Would be a handy depth signing. Siro and Frank are 80 min back rowers so assuming they stay fit they will always get priority.

Wouldn't mind signing Angus Crichton, he has the makings of a top tier back rower.

Matterson is much better than both Siro and winterstein. So he would play ahead of them. Crichton already is top tier. Would love either of them.

Tyrone may had another great game today, no room in the panthers side for him, would take him to replace green next year.
Did you watch green play today? Obviously not. That is about as stupid a comment as I have seen in a while on this site.

Do you really think green is a long term answer, he is 30 odd. And solid at best. He played ok today and has done some good things this year, he has also missed a stack of tackles, given away dumb penalties, put in ordinary kicks and gone missing in a lot of games. He isn't threatening enough in attack to elevate us to a genuine threat, as teams that are a genuine threat have a 5/8 with a far more complete game than Blake.

Someone like Tyrone may comes at half the price and has much more upside.

I don't make a habit of saying stupid things. But you are obviously much wiser than me, I will send you a pm to get your approval next time I post, cool?

Green was bought with a limited shelf life, that shelf life expires when a better option presents itself, may can be bought if he is available and work with green next year which is blakes last.

Fix Hastings or Cullen

Problem solved

I think both have ability. Just not sure if Hastings has the mental fortitude and attitude to take that next step, and Cullen looks a bit 1 dimensional, he is a runner. With backs like walker and turbo, our five eight needs to have a great passing game and be able to create space.

Been watching may since last year, looks to have an incredibly well rounded game.

Green's shelf life expires when his current contract expires.
I think it is prudent for both parties to see how he goes at the start 8 rounds of next year, and move foward then, either way.

We would be absolute fools to go down the path of slash and burn the sqaud too much again though.

Cullen had 3 try assists minimum today against the ladder topping Wyong.

He is a half, through and through.
5/8 if I had a choice.

That's exactly what I'm saying, but you buy up and comers as they are available, you might steal may away next year to join the club and learn the systems with the lure of first grade late 18/2019. He is stuck behind Moylan and Cleary at the panthers who are both under 23, so he is only going to be a squad player there.grt him s year to early rather than a year too late, it's all moot anyways, I don't know what his contract status is.

I wonder if baz coached May when he was at penrith.

Yeah I read he had a good game, that's great, I would love if he came along as an option post green. May could be an option too, who scored a try and set one up today against a team in a higher grade than Wyong.

Create squad depth and competition for spots, that should be our highest priority with our stronger cap position next year.

Green was bought to be the organiser of the team and to steer the team around the park. Dce plays more of a running second receiver position. He is in career best form and a lot has to do with the forwards especially marty going forward and green taking pressure off him so dce can inject himself into the backline when he chooses or to finish off that last pass or kick or come up with the big play.

If and when green moves on we need a similar type player to fill that role. An organiser with a good kicking game. Definitely not tyrone peachy. He is not the player dce needs beside him. Apparently sharks are trying to offload maloney next year he would be the type of half thst woukd suit dce but would cost too much. Green is only on 300k by the way. Best bargain buy of the year!!

Would also love a player like adam reynolds to partner dce but tyrone peachy? Wtf. Hell no

Tyrone May is a junior Panthers 5/8 or lock.
