Koula needs to be fullback. The guy is a weapon. Turbo and Jurbo are finished I would not be offering them any extensions.

I’d play him at fullback because I don’t want to lose him to a team that’s looking to pay top dollar for a genuine 1. Upgrade his deal and pay Tom a centres salary and play him there for the rest of his career. I’d play Hoppa on the wing.

Certainly if both Turbo and Lehi were unavailable , try Koula at one but hopeful long term position at Manly in the centres so may as well continue there
Not sure with season 27 as an option in his favor has him open to other options after Nov the i st but hopefully not and more time for Manly to have him as the highest priority re signing and ideally long term and the means to manage it with more coin

I love how Koula’s game has progressed this year. I do however think that the presence of Turbo in the minds of opponents defence lines has given him more space to do his thing. I think the 2nd try he scored last night is a good example of this.

I think generally speaking players take a step forward between 50-100 NRL games.

You get that confidence that not only do you belong but You can start to impose yourself.

A rare breed quicker than that but most need a few seasons.

Tolu aint the finished article yet either, still more to come.

Even under 7s know if your gun player is on fire keep feeding it to him.

Koula needs to go to fullback now and in the future. Lehi is too light and Turbo is done. As for centres we better find some because we have none.

Koula is the future at full back he could be just like Tedesco with his footwork and acceleration.

Lehi is also a great fullback, but I think he is good on the wing for now.

I yelled (thru the tv) at DCE for giving him a pass and saying run at that brick wall please. But now I've calmed down, injuries do happen (still disqualified DCE from my MVP points - aside from that, he would have got 1 or 2)

Anyway here's hoping for a full recovery for Tolu, who has become the most devastating attacking centre since (??)

Medial ligament damage. His season is over
