From his point of view running comp like he has for the last 2 yrs isn't easy or sustainable. I'm sure the state premiers have told the NRL their expectations.

Wonder if it will affect the comp, imagine half the squad is vaxxed and the other half isn't..what happens then?

It will be interesting to see what happens when teams have to travel interstate to play. Both Qantas & Virgin have said they won't carry unvaccinated passengers, and I assume a lot of the other smaller airlines will follow suit.

In NSW you cannot enter a stadium or venue unless your vaccinated, will this also apply to players? I know we're still 6 months away from the start of the 2022 season and things could change, but for the near term, I don't see freedoms returning for unvaxxed people in Sydney for a long time.

Aren’t thinking with their heads.

A good mate of mines son lives in the UK ( permanently) and they are now able to attend sporting events , go to pubs , cafes and travel to some parts of Europe without the need to quarantine in a hotel when they return. BUT, only if you are double vaccinated!!

I’d suggest it will be mandatory for NRL players in 2022, and anyone not participating will probably have their contracts ripped up!!

The Law firm, Ashley, Francina, Leonard & Associates — of whom Nikolic is Managing Director – argues that the public health orders requiring “a broad class of workers” to be vaccinated are illegal and unconstitutional, as are the extra powers granted to police to enforce public health orders.

The suit will seek a declaration that NSW public health orders are invalid and impose a ban on any further orders made by Mr Hazzard and Dr Chant.

People just aren't intelligent enough for their own good. Waste of time and money. I'm pro-vaccination. However do whatever you want, the problem will more or less sort itself out.

I think the best argument for vaccination was in the form of a facebook video of an old bloke saying "Go out and get the shot so I can get back in the pub and have a drink and a punt ya dogs"
