I almost picked Penrith in the tipping comp but wasn't brave enough. About 6 people are 3/3 and two of them are mods.... and we say the nrl is rigged!!!!! lol


sCam loses a captain's challenge and needs to talk to the ref for 2 hours after the call.

And when he was asked to challenge of nick off, shakes his head, rolls his eyes and stomps off like the disrespectful spoilt brat he is. NO ref respect and isn't there a rule that after a penalty you can't go up and whine to a ref anyway? That was brought in to stop everyone bar sCam rushing up to the refs so the defensive line could set after every penalty.

The only thing that should be said is "I challenge". If I were a ref sCam would be in the bin every game.

Klein has always had issues reffing games to keep them close. If you get behind with him as the ref you can probably just wrestle your way back pretty easy without fear of penalty.

I can't recall seeing any restarts awarded against Storm yet there were several blatantly slowed tackles. Storm had the benefit of a number of 7 8 or 9 tackle sets mostly awarded without me noticing anything untoward.
Maybe I wasn't watching closely enough but it seemed very subjective, almost arbitrary from the ref. Not much you can do about it but it makes the Panthers win more meritorious in my opinion.
Cleary played well and Fisher-Harris has gone to another level this year.

I wonder how the anti-Api posters on here are feeling now?
I remember the 'Crappy Api' posts and couldn't believe the negativity around him.
He was, and still is, a great player, particularly for his diminutive size.
I'm sure we 'all' wish he had been retained at Manly, even if it was as a super-sub behind Fainu. But for those who were anti-Api how about acknowledgement that they were wrong?

loved Api ... an honest player that always gave his all for us ... sorely missed . Even if Manase (who I was happy to see promoted), comes back I think his gang mentality will see him not reach his playing potential and is/ will be a bad influence on the other young islander boys

I just had a look at the replay of the latrell tackle as there's some talking about it and yes...

stuck his arm out and swung it at the warriors head, not coat hanger style for sure but it was still a swinging arm and it stopped a try, etc.

I'm kind of perplexed why it has been cleared so readily. Even taking the maroon glasses off, and even if Mitchell was my fav player.... that's got to be at least a fine, some points....
