This game will be played at the SCG to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the 1976 Grand Final played between Parramatta & Manly.

Good that the league is doing something promotional though it would have been good to play the Slimes at the Fortress!!

Do Manly get compensated and/or do they get to keep the gate receipts and catering profits?

Are the sponsors going to be well represented?

At least we can safely assume it will be a Sunday afternoon game on Channel 9.

Why don't they play the grand final at the cricket ground instead? After all it will be Manly vs the parra scum anyway. LOL

This is another example as to how Manly has lost its influence with the NRL since Arko left. Why didn't the NRL make the round 21 game against Parra the SCG game as this is at Parra stadium? Would rather play them at Brookie and SCG next year.

I suppose because St George played the Roosters in the 1985 Grand Final???
