often bought about a second half performance for me. Okay, going from 0-4 to 1-6 is still a crap loss, but my team did do better in the second half...

When he coached us he frequently tried to disassociate himself from the team in his press conferences, used words like "they".

Hey, it least you Sea Eagles folk have the option of giving it up at half time.

As for us Warriors folk, our boys gave us a massive tease by being only 10-16 at halftime in the ANZAC game last season to keep us awake and hanging on. You know, the kind of halftime result that makes you think "****, only 6 points behind to the Storm in Melbourne! Hey, first points in the second half and we could get this one!"

45-odd minutes later: Points Scored 0. Points Conceded 54.
