Brave effort from the fins but when you lack class you have to be near perfect both halves.

Souths just rolled the Dolphins in the middle third and the Phins had no answer. Yes, the Rabbits had some lucky moments, but they put themselves in that position. Latrell was only in that position to kick it to the grandstands because Souths went the better part of 80m in a set. Walker only scores that try because Souths did a great job of stripping the Dolphins for numbers etc. etc.

It was good work for Souths and unfortunately for the Dolphins, Kenny Bromwich was still on daylight savings time and arrived an hour early on Taane Milne. It was game over from there.

I think it's easy to point fingers at players like Ese'ese for being too loose. However it's across the board and even players like Ray Stone and Tommy Gilbert who are their for their defensive efforts clock off. I don't think it's beyond them to fix those areas, but if the Dolphins are going to be competitive that's what they'll have to address.

Yeah, I know. I made that statement at HT. I still think that they have the bones of a decent team there. They will beat a lot of sides but won't touch the elite ones. Top 8 is still a good possibility though.

I think Aitken would have passed to his open winger, but he looked left and Jennings was 10m back from where he should have been and running on a treadmill.

So he panicked and went the other way instead of slowing himself down and drawing and passing to Jennings when he caught up.

Huge bombed try at that point of the game

Yep....they are just a strike player (or two) away from being a consistent threat to all teams. They will do themselves proud this year but......
I don't see a top 8 finish.

I don't know what promotions AusTAB (Or whatever they're called) have going on, but here the TAB have decided for NRL games that they'll pay out Head To Head bets if the team you've picked is leading by 8 or more at half time.

So I got my Dolphins bet.

And then the TAB also had to pay out any Rabbitohs Head To Head bets...

It's the second or third time that situation's happened...

They'd be making a profit on the game, to win anything significant in a head to head bet you got to really lay it down. Punters tends to head towards the same game multis these days for that reason, you can bet small and win big (that's what the punter is thinking anyways).

Nothing for Ray Stone is interesting... considering KK went off with an injured ankle after the tackle.

It didnt look like a hip drop, but his weight was on the back leg and it did cause injury
