Annersley thinks we're fools, or he just doesn't care if people know he's full of ****. The reason the "bad" teams are doing more defending in the first place is because of the deliberately game-managing calls that gifts the opposition possession. The refs already have a pre-determined dominant team (as chosen by the NRL and their agenda) and the favourable calls go their way. That Horsborough penalty is just another in a long line. If they don't get the **** calls, they wouldn't be defending as much in the first place, would they.

Analsley was trying to control the narrative by giving the talking heads something to quote... ball is in NSWRL media's court now as to whether they want to correctly report the manufacturing and managing of games by refs or follow the NSWRL's narrative like a good boy and regurgitate the "just be better" line

It's absolutely useless as practice when the opposition isn't expecting and pressuring for it. The original post was spot on... Moses with a tool act

That was a legit crusher from Kikau though. I don't care if it's accidental, 95% of them are, any other teams gets penalised. The on-field ref did everything he could to get the next play going before the replay played on-screen.
