ROUND 2- Other games (2018)

I don't drink rum, hence I still have all but my top wisdom teeth.

Out of the 12 or so games this year I have enjoyed the 2 tigers games more than others. It's scrappy and its enjoyable, its not wrestly and milk, wrestle and milk

Tigs have been great to watch and the Warriors have been good too!!

Hes got a head like someone who screwed me over so theres' 2 punches at least
Also wondering why he is allowed to use his legs to tackle someone, isnt that a trip, and the result a concussion

Shnorky, it's a stupid rule.
You are allowed to use you leg - ie trip them - if you have two hands on the ball carrier.
They changed it years ago because Alfie Langer used to do it all the time.
As much as it is now legal I thought it should've been a penalty as the ref had clearly called held before he flipped him over.

Well, everyone on Silvertails tipped the Storm... so it was a nothing game as far as the tipping competition goes. Which meant we were all able to cheer home the Tigers all the way (something I’m sure we would have all done regardless.)
Wow. This is why my tipping comp is so bad. Clearly I've tipped the Storm on here but I bet on the Tigers!

would have been a penalty for 10 teams but not against any of the NRL favs.

You can get away with it as long as you are straight off by the scum still had the mandatory 3 seconds wrestle afterwards. Another reason why i hate it when keyboard warriors type cut out penalties and then back it up with examples like the storm don't get penalised so play like them. Well there is your answer - we play like the storm and we cop more penalties than we already do, it is all about the refs subjectivity.
Until these calls become short arm style - 6 again the effect of the refs to influence games as per the NRL plan will remain too strong

PENRITH forward Tim Browne had to have emergency surgery after a tackle gone wrong left him with a horror injury on Saturday.

Browne was taken from the field and rushed to hospital with what was thought to be a spleen injury.

But it was discovered the front-rower had actually ruptured his bowel in the tackle.😱

Holy ****

Just watching a replay of tiges scum game and confirming something I already knew the scum have unearthed another scumbag in Eddie Munster.
Geez they've got a good eye for a grub.
Agree. When Munster was sin-binned against Parra last year, the game was held up waiting for him to dawdle off.
Slater even yelled at him to get moving to which he payed no heed.
I thought, that’ll do me.
