Is Miller that good that you'd risk your concussion prone marquee player by forcing by into the front line defence? I don't think so. Miller can play on the wing just fine

If he’s such a concussion risk that he needs to be hidden in defence then he should retire

edit: he’s going to take high impact contact returning the ball from kicks at the back

It's not being hidden in defence, just reducing unnecessary contact. He had plenty of HIAs at fullback but now he's being asked to defend against forwards being sent his way.

As for kick returns, he was never a full pelt runner. He'd have Young and Miller as options if he went back this year.

That Ponga play the ball probably beats the old Martin Bella play in the wrong way. Put the ball down and walk off to berate your team mate as he's done something wrong. Then remember it would work better if you played the ball first then berated him.
