Most probable line up, though the bench lacks impact, I would go with Sipley for that reason over Brown or Tevega, they are very similar type players and have Gordy on the pine over Talau.

I haven't seen enough of Patolo, Navale and the other upcoming forwards top express a view yet but I hope they step up and earn selection. I'm not a believer in taking too long to promote talent. IMO pre season performance and form during the season should determine selection or non selection. We should have a good reserve grade side this season.

Expectation that Froggy may still be the starting 9 and that could only result in a serviceable 9 sub on the bench to give him a rest but would then very likely result in either Talau or Lehi not being in the game day 17
Which i think just would not be sustainable not too far down the track then into the season
Unless again for instance the prospect of Talau somehow making a fairly prompt transition to a 13 could come into the equation.
Then alternatively that possibility of Simpkin starting but somehow , just can not see the suitability of either Froggy or Gordy on the bench then .
At this stage , probably would still prefer Sipley starting ahead of Alioia if jake starts as the 13 and unless Alioia can consistently lift his intensity a bit and just not sure if Brown can be as effective on a regular basis as he was able to manage for a reasonable amount of time last season .
Won"t please everybody but can only also expect Koula and Garrick to start in the centres and at this stage also quite likely , Saab and Lehi on the wings

I like the Tevaga signing but he's a bench middle or dummy half.
138 NRL games and he's never once been selected at second row!

I can't see Talau being thrown in as a forward, he's a pretty good quality outside back still on the improve. If by any chance he can't make 1st grade with Manly another club will certainly take him as a back.

Sorry can agree with Tevage on the edge, the guy is an out an out middle who can cover hooker.

Would get horrible exposed on an edge IMO
