About 10 mins into the game I had seen:

-A penalty against St G but ch 9 didn't say what for (offiside?)
- A penalty against the broncs for laying in the play the ball where St G player just dived
- A ball strip which I thought warranted a replay but nothing from ch 9
- A ball raked out but ruled as lost

So... different year, same old refs and channel 9 *sigh*


On another note ( b flat lol so funny) I hope Trent and the boys have practised correct play the balls. Seemed pretty good last night but the refs will def want to throw out a few of those penalties asap, and use the new sin bin rule asap and we all know where Manly stand when there's a new rule afoot!

Anyway, start of the season, everyone is a bit rusty and at least footy is back! woot!

McInnes never touched the ball with his foot on the play the ball before the Frizell try. They'll only enforce the rule when they feel like it.
