For some reason I'm very confident of a win.
Any Manly team that includes Croker, Parker, Garrick and a couple of Trbos has a solid base of heart, and we do have some in-form x factor in Haumole Schu Tolu and Saab.
Need a fast start to remind those Chooks that they are currently running fourteenth (14th) yes fourteenth.
Which is 4th last!

I’m actually worried we will get a flogging tonight. Hope I’m wrong. That said a manly win is prob more appealing to the scriptwriters in keeping the race for the 8 close now that Easts are done. We might get the run based on that, but highly doubt it.

There’s a lot to play for tonight, trouble is , that’s for both sides.

Love to see a win , but I think the Chicks have something to prove and the media has been on them all week.

I’m expecting major fireworks from their forwards.

Hopefully can be totally switched on tonight especially on the one percenters .
Sure that the Roosters will be up for the contest , just have to match them all round and when the opportunity is there , to put on some of that better and well constructed attack that got some results last week .
Definitely to not waste opportunities and hopefully not too much one off running during an average the ruck set . Make the Roosters feel uncomfortable in defence as much as possible .
Roosters will no doubt try their luck with attacking high kicks , no reason why Manly should not as well .
Winnable , doable if the total commitment is there and 3 wins in a row seems pretty good to me

Pretty confident that we'll get anally reemed by the officials tonight. We've had a reasonable run of late so I'm guessing rich uncle Nick has been doling out the brown paper bags and golf games this week. C0cks by 12.

Yeah, I like to think I'm usually pretty optimistic about our chances but there's something not feeling right about tonight. I have an awful feeling our middle is going to open up tonight (Smith and Teddy) and Ray (and maybe even Saab) could really struggle under the high ball with Toupo and Sualii flying above them all night.

I hope I'm wrong. Come on boys, you really need to lift.

Both coaches have something to prove
The media will maul the ones that miss the 8 and underachieve
Plenty at stakes for this game

We narrowly escaped a second half capitulation against the roosters last time on our home ground with a 18 to 16 win
We narrowly escapes a second half capitulation against the sharks
We narrowly escaped a second half capitulation against the Dragons

If we are to be serious top 8 contenders we need to be a more resilient side than that

Chicken Soup tonight 🦅🦅🦅👍👍
Great cold weather for some warm chicken soup tonight feathered friend
Just squeeze a bit of lemon to these tasty chicken stocks
and add some salt into their wounds

Depends what mind set the Chooks are in, may only take a couple of early tries from us to see them cave in.

Definitely will have to have that good scrambling defence on show tonight especially with Teddy no doubt lurking around the ruck looking for opportunities
Just have to try and contain their attack as best as possible and restrict Keary also in particular .
Need some real alertness from the Shu and Tuilagi on their side to help matters
Games like this can naturally go either way but again no reason why Manly can not get the better of them like a few weeks ago and especially if Matty Lodge can put in another big effort
