while that pole is on everyones mind, what about the question of " does any one club have an influence on the NRL" or words to that effect.

53 players said yes and 49 of those players said the roosters.

Should the NRL be worried that the players percieve that the Roosters get a better than fair go when it comes to running the game! its fine for the fans to think thatm but when the players think that its abit of a worry!

In other words, just over 25% of players think the Roosters have an unduly influence but that means 47% of players think the speculation is untrue and just under 28% think another club has the said influence. Sounds pretty 'meh'ish to me.

It depends on how you look at it, but if so many players think the roosters in some way control the NRL, it could work against the salary cap, players thinking if they sign with the roosters they will get more benifits. It has to be a major drawing point for them and one the NRL needs to address and quickly.

That is, unless the NRL already know something and are turning a blind eye.
