    A very good read from the ex-coach this week, taking a look at how Manly go about their business both on and off the field. Sums up the club in the final paragraph;

    "In each of these aspects [Passing, Focused, Toughness/Consistancy, Depth and Halves] Manly appear to be almost thumbing their noses at the current trend.

    They don't play the same plays in the same way at the same part of the field like most teams do. They don't recruit or retain like others. As a club, team and as individuals the Eagles are no imitation of any other organisation. There are no clones. They live and die doing it their own way. Will they win the comp? If some team wants to beat them they will know they need to be very good on the day."

          We should get him in to do a review of the club - it's worked well for the Tigers!
