I played for 17 years, was named club captain when 21, and was a successful captain and coach, rightly labelled the best to pull on my club colours. I toured 6 times and represented the national squad on 27 occasions. When I was 20 I scored 3 tries in a memorable victory against the visiting tourists. I was tough and when captain in the championship game I broke my jaw in the first half but lifted the cup after putting in the whole 80 minutes. I played more than 400 club games, scored more than 200 tries and kicked more than 600 goals. I am????

Ill have a crack and say Brian Bevan. An Aussie that played nearly his whole career in England. Doesnt really fit though as he never played test footy.

i reckon the the only aussie to score over 200 tries was ken irvine and he played a lot more than 27 times in national colours so it must be a pommie or a bushie.

has to be the great roger millward.did score 3 tries against aussies when he was young but he was playing for his club, not england.

He played for Hull of Hull Kingston Rovers - was a champ and played a bit out here too if I remember correctly. Good call - both tough as nuts those two above!

played for cronulla in 76 for most of the english offseason.

in combination with nash he provided one of the greatest international halves pairings in history.
