I played for 17 years, was named club captain when 21, and was a successful captain and coach, rightly labelled the best to pull on my club colours. I toured 6 times and represented the national squad on 27 occasions. When I was 20 I scored 3 tries in a memorable victory against the visiting tourists. I was tough and when captain in the championship game I broke my jaw in the first half but lifted the cup after putting in the whole 80 minutes. I played more than 400 club games, scored more than 200 tries and kicked more than 600 goals. I am????

Is this a trick question like the QLD Comets one - like are we talking about Mal Meninga and Souths Brisbane??

Good suggestion - it certainly isn't an all Sydney player as noone has scored that many points in the NSWRL/ARL.

Ill have a crack and say Brian Bevan. An Aussie that played nearly his whole career in England. Doesnt really fit though as he never played test footy.

i reckon the the only aussie to score over 200 tries was ken irvine and he played a lot more than 27 times in national colours so it must be a pommie or a bushie.

He played for Hull of Hull Kingston Rovers - was a champ and played a bit out here too if I remember correctly. Good call - both tough as nuts those two above!
