Surely a week off considering the possibility of a 5 day turnaround would be advantageous. Plus if the chooks and souffs bash each other up chasing the minor premiership we would be specials going in fresh.

The freshest team seems to triumph year after year.. Gifty killed it in the 2011 GF after a lengthy lay off..

Albeit I doubt Tooves will rest em, only a few.

Makes no diff ultimately. Apart we go in with a fresh squad rather than a potentially battered/ key players carrying injuries against a battered Souths / chooks
