I remember the Dogs leading us something like 18 - Nil at half time in a match in the 1970's. The crowd booed Manly from the field.

We ended up winning by a point.

Anyone remember or find the exact details???

I remember trailing them 20-5 at halftime in 1982. The last year of the 3-point try. We won 25-20.

Can't remember if they were booed off at halftime however.

The only people that can beat Manly are themselves. If we turn up on song we will win comfortably. The issue is we don't always play at 100%, No team does though. A hard fought win over the Dogs with wins over the Storm and Brisbane would be an ideal run into the finals if we could achieve it.

Thanks Phantar that is probably what I remember, a bit hazy after all these years.

The booing could of been aimed at the ref in hindsight, I was only a teenager at the time.
