Do U really think strengthening our top 17 is the issue? I personally think half of Manlys problem is focusing too strongly on the17.

Our 17 when all fully fit, combined with some weekly consistency, I believe will challenge any team. It's just it all goes pear shaped when we get injuries.

Our cap needs to be more evenly distributed to the top 30 squad so we can lure better quality depth to the club for when we are struck down by injuries or rep duties...

Challenge the top sides with that 17.

We need quality depth. Not a better 17.

Wasn't suggesting we need to strengthen our top 17(just said that the side I nominated was a little inexperienced and so was the depth.I have never really had a major issue with our players.As for depth,we are pretty good considering who we had at the start of the year,we lose Green,Lussick,and the Hastings fiasco.We have had Walker,Uate,Taufua,Croker,Tanginoa,Paseka,Sironen,Gosiewki,Koroisau injured for long periods of time.I am not a fan of some of our players but when you look at the Roosters/Sharks to name a couple who are going ok,our depth is way better but we are going poorly.Barrett has to shoulder a lot,so does injuries and the way we have been screwed by the NRL with the salary cap...However some players need to go as their contributions have been poor and I don't believe it is the coach responsible for that.The players I have suggested in the past like Reuben,Cornish,Sorenson,Kamikamica etc... are hardly big name expensive players.I like the squad I nominated but need to add a few players to get through the grind of a full season.
