referreeing this weekend

    I thought the return to the lone man in the middle was a good thing this weekend.  Less pedantic rulings and the games seemed to flow.  The ruck seemed to be a tad slower which I think is a good thing.  Didn't watch the Storm game, so this comment doesn't apply to that game.

    absolutely agree.all was needed was some extra latitude in the ruck.finally they are realising not every slow play the ball is a hold down.they are big men in big collisions.i would have thought that garbage super league served up years ago shows that quick rucks dont mean a good game.
