Realistically-how many comments from posters before it turns ugly

I've only ever visited two other forums , and only ever briefly.

They attack each other a bit on the Kennel and the One Eyed Worm site as well, although I'm not sure it's to the same extent as in here.

Realistically, that is because there are a group of supporters who just love to lay the boot into the club, coach, players after every loss, and then they are rightfully ridiculed for being so negative all the time.

Realistically they then dissapear after a win.

Then they occassionally realistically re-appear with threads like this, which is still a negative spin on things.

Realistically it must be hard living life with the glass half empty all the time.

Human nature. We quarrel because we are similar. If one person wants to put an opinion forward on say curling and someone else has an opinion to put forward on our forward rotation the chance of them arguing is close to zero. We argue because we are passionate about the same things.

i really don't know why, when it gets boring,we all just give buckets of s**t to bennett and darius and the donkeys, surely that would be more fun than bagging each other:flogger:

@Forty Baskets i know sometimes people get a bit testy on here but most of us just shake it off and get over it, I guess it just comes back to what we went over in the 'ignore button post'.

If people didn't have their own opinion and express it the way they wanted to it would make for a pretty boring site.

Forum folk are from all walks of life, all age groups, in different situations. Opinions vary as a result.

The moderators are quite relaxed and try to let people sort there own **** out which i applaud.(golf clap to dan, dudes and dudesses)

More and more communication is done on line these days on forums, social media ,and its a skill that is lacking, and at this place if your prepared to hang in there, not throw your toys out if the cot, there is much to learn, some of it is even footy related

I read this forum for some time before joining and probably would never have joined if the old manly site hadnt shut down, but ive learnt to laugh at people, roll my eyes and not transfer that opinion with my keyboard mostly

There would be a full mix of society on here, some good, some not so, we might have litterbugs and father rapers and probably some who have had to sit at the bench marked "group W " I wonder if anyone will get that reference, but self control is a good skill and if you want you have a chance to exercise it a lot, get a few laughs, some footy news and a place where we can collectively spit at the enemy , then this is a happy place although some do like the newbies to earn there stripes. I presume you all heard me roll my eyes

So the good far outweighs the bad if you can refrain and learn to tolerate opinions rather than feel the need to change them

Both of those forums are very entertaining, especially the kennel after a loss.
The one eyed worm forum is a bit dreary. It is funny though how often they think they're in with a real shot and all of a sudden......nothing.....again.....31 years and counting
