I honestly don't think that the QLD camp can continue to deny the rift anymore, it's that blatant in spite of all the "pro Daly" crap they have trotted out the last week.

It's not as if he is simply playing solid footy and missing out because he has the best of the best up against him...

The Maroons have an injury crisis and are calling up a guy to make his debut, having been dropped to QLD Cup a week earlier, and still that cannot find a spot for the form player in the entire NRL competition at present?! WTF?

I think the DCE non-selection is going to be a big story in Manly's favour this season.

The entire team will be highly motivated, as well as DCE himself. Can't get much more us-against-them than this.

Plus in a weird way it may win Manly some support from the wider (non-Qld) supporter base, which would be a big change!

I'm looking forward to Qld losing the game and then would love to see a Manly V Broncos Grand Final.
DCE to get the Clive Churchill medal after steering Manly to a great victory.
That would really rub salt into the Queenslanders.
