Hmm - I didn't have Davey in my top 3 but what is very clear in watching his game is that everything he does is all effort. There are no soft runs, he always seems to bend the line a little... there are no soft tackles - he whacks. He is always in position, he is always keen to make another tackler - not just happy to watch others. And.... he makes no errors - now he will there is no doubt or he will miss a tackle/s but very rarely do you see an error from him. Just a professional footballer - not super talented but all effort.
