It’s very interesting compiling the votes each week.
The first two years I manually entered each vote into a spreadsheet. Then Dan incorporated a function into the site that calculated the votes (which was much appreciated by yours truly). With the upgrade to the site, I’ve gone back to the spreadsheet (although I know Dan has it on his to do list).

What you do notice doing it manually is various trends in voting.

Firstly and unsurprisingly, very few people vote after a loss. A good win and voting thread will go for pages.

Secondly, you definitely see favorites among individual voters (I’m the same).

Finally, you really see how polarizing DCE is. You get some voting for him every week and others who refuse to acknowledge him, regardless of result or personal performance.

Overall though, I think Silvertails are pretty fair-minded in the assessment each week.

Interestingly enough, I was googling an opposition player recently and the results led me to that teams fan forum, and their MVP. It is identical to ours but started a couple of years later lol
