MVP: Rd 11 v Cowboys

I thought Waddell had a strong game but geez he is good for a dumb penalty. He’s lucky it didn’t completely turn the momentum in the game because we were hanging on and finally got the Cowboys camped in their own end; enter Waddell, who couldn’t help but have another grab after releasing.

Anyway, if he can run hard into space like he did in the second half, he has the kind of leg speed that can be very effective.
Overenthusiastic. This can be cured 🙂

3. Burbo
2. Simpkin
1. Hoppa

If I could split my points in .5's I would because Jazz and Saab really impressed me, Brooks stood up and is basically playing 6 and 7 because our 7 has been dreaming so much about roosters that he is now embodying a headless chook and I even hate to say this but Waddell impressed me too but that stupid and lazy penalty he gave away took him out of my MVP contention.

3 Burbomeister..he’s getting better all the time
2 Simpkin ..lots of work
1 Saab for his efforts

Jaazz, TKO, Ola, Lehi all good. Turbo…maaate. Take a chill pill. Knees foooked but looked nervous.. the mental demons …ahh the demons …

3. Simpkin - there was one play where there was a loose ball and he pounced on it out of nowhere. It was only one play, and he had many great moments, but that stood out above all.

2. Ben T - his best game in first grade. He was quality.

1. Lehi - I still cannot work out how someone so skinny can make so many post contact metres. Incredible!

3. Burbo… fu.k em all mate, you are an NRL quality baller bud
2. Hoppa… no idea where his strength comes from but he manages to bend the line every time
1. Koula… worked hard, ran strongly and scrambled awesomely

Tough one. So many just rolled their sleeves up and dug in, but I'm going with

3 - Simpkin. The play that @Ranga mentioned stood out for me too. Just wanted it more.
2 - Burbo. I must admit he's been a bit of a whipping boy for me, but he had a blinder tonight.
1 - Jazz. Was everywhere and really bent the line.

Honourable mentions - Lehi. Still can believe he doesn't get pushed back when he hits the line.
Brooks. Bloody hell he's a tough little bugger. Ola. Great game (but I wish he's stop crowding his outside men )

3 Brbo….he must have read my post about me saying he’s not a backrower lol. Seriously that was his best game since he came on the scene. If he can play like that week in week out I’ll be happy to eat humble pie. He was that good tonight!!!
2 Lehi…one of our best every week.
3 Simpkin….our best No.9 by far.
Brooks was great also, as was Koula! In fact the team showed some true grit. DCE…again where was he?
