Less than one minute but no ranting or raving. A very reserved Ricky Stuart.....I was shocked.

Brooks was great, was a threat all game. He and Turbo were our two best throughout I thought. Glad to see Turbo get through so much work.

Lehi continues to surprise me. So composed for his age and for his frame he’s really solid getting yardage out of our own end.

Also thought Schmole and Karl Lawton were really good too. Lawtons locked down the starting second row spot for the rest of the season in my opinion.

For whatever its worth Lawtons started 13 games at 2nd row for Manly. Our record with him there is 8-4 (one game sent off). Most those starts came when in the 2021 season where Turbo was incredible but thought it was an interesting stat regardless.

What a peanut. He did it in the first half too. Just sat on the ground refusing to play the ball and demanding a penalty. Who the hell does he think he is? Sam Burgess? Unfortunately for him it's not 2014 and he doesn't play for Souffs.

There was one ruck out in the first half where Lehi carried Big Papa and another on his back for several metres. No idea how he does it with his slight frame.

Another chance to score 50+ goes begging because we put the cue in the rack early but aside from that and the sloppy defense at the end, it was a good win

A good win today. When our attack clicks it can be devastating for the opposition and we're as good as anything the likes of Penrith, Melbourne, Cronulla or the Chooks can produce. And we're definitely a better attacking side than the Bulldogs.

BUT........

We will not win the Premiership with our defence. That still needs a BIG improvement IMO.

Brooks proving very dangerous inattack putting opposite defenses in 2 minds. Bullemore has been outstanding. Lawton on that edge much better than Burbo. Does anyone think that when Aloiai comes back in , Brown to bench that Burbo will be the one to drop out.
