On Saturday night, the Parramatta club responded to the report.

“The Parramatta Eels can confirm that Semi Radradra has been granted permission to return to Fiji for a short family visit during the bye round,” a statement read.

“He is expected to return to Sydney in time to prepare for the club’s next NRL game against Cronulla.

I hope he goes. Firstly to upset parra even more and secondly because he is a dumb kid with a mercenary manager. He should never have played for Australia. That was ridiculous but how can you begrudge someone making more money if they can. The NRL needs to get my serious. We aren't talking NFL money here. The difference between French Rugby and NRL shouldn't be an attraction. Signal a three year double cap incremental increase. God knows they aren't putting the money into junior development.
