Why aren't the Easts player manages asking the Roosters for substantial upgrades now that they have won a premiership in2013 and got close this year as well?

I read the article a few weeks ago that a lot of their players are being paid well unders.

Are the managers doing their job for their clients or is there something else at hand?

I won't say there should be an investigation but maybe the NRL should look into this a bit more.

Remember in the article that Daniel Tupou was on $40K.... I just laughed maybe 2013 but 2014 no way, he would get more than that just playing 1 or 2 Origin games..

They are cheating. Plain and simple.

The Roosters claim players of the likes of sam moa played the premiership year for $15k.

    http://m.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/starstudded-sydney-roosters-declare-they-are-100000-under-the-nrls-61-million-salary-cap/story-fni3gn3s-1227051773030

Take into account NRL minimum wage under the salary cap is $75k and you don't need to be 'iron-stien' to smell that rat.

Now Easts have convinced two of their hyphenated NZ representatives to pull out of the Four Nations because of 'fatigue' from counting all that money in brown paper bags.

Ian Schubert has retired as salary cap auditor.

Is his replacement an ex-Rooster too?

My thoughts exactly, minimum wage is just that. If there are 3rd party deals that take them up to 75K then it must be club related and part of the salary cap, the NRL could not register the contract if under the minimum wage.

Meanwhile souths will have a plethory of players available over the next year or two as well due to salary cap pressure, the Burgess boys would be commanding $1 million (the 3 that are left) unless uncle Rusty is just buying Mrs Burgess a new house or something....

Is it cheating if its done with NRL approval?
