Nrl were shown to have higher net ratings so they're not doing as bad as expected at the moment. Agree its a rabble thanks to Greenturd.

Our players certainly have higher morality than afl players however, and though few examples can be tilted toward suggesting against this, they are still a better look for the game than cheap, grubby and cowardly moments seen in afl.

I can't stop laughing at that second paragraph!!!

It’s a coward punch pure and simple and there should be criminal sanctions. Provocation is not a defence at Law. Scott should have been charged with the shot on Walker.

Knowing the AFL, he will get a heavy suspension, much more than scott got for hitting Walkz.

I don't care for Aerial Ping Pong, but that looked dumb. you would get a suspension in any sport for that (well mabye not UFC and Boxing 😉 ).

Yea, Scott got 2 weeks, while Walks was out for 5 or 6. Just shows how screwed the NRL is.

Hahah yes true, that line can be taken out of context, there are some idiots in the nrl. Basically i'm saying that afl has more cheap shots and gutless moments, whereas nrl has some more respectability toward the opposition, more of a gentlemans battle. They (usually) let their performances do the job and gain bragging rights that way (usually) rather than some of the cowardly actions in afl. When i lived in melbourne for four years i saw at school a fair amount (aka well more than enough) of afl videos like these.

Gallen goes third man into a tackle with a swinging arm, then hits Myles twice while Myles has his arms by his sides (add an uppercut while Myles tries to grab him).

And a lot of people think this was fantastic and that Gallen is some hard man posterboy instead of a raging puss/coward. Naturally he went back to beating up overweight truck drivers under the protection of a ref in "professional boxing".

Then without a hint of irony, the coach said, post game, that he put him back on because it 'wasn't the 80's'' (where more thumping went on).

The coach (or someone) then said.... "I don't think the punch was intentional."

Harry, pre Walker/Scott fight, I would've agreed with you. But that was one of the most cowardly things I'd seen on a footy field. The fact that Scott only got two weeks keeps the NRL way ahead of the AFL in the biggest knob head stakes.
