U know one thing that's insane about the finals format. Is in the preliminary finals the second seeded team (us) gets an extra day to prepare for the grand final

Another interesting thing about the way the draw is. The winner of this Friday nights game between Tigers and NZ plays Saturday next week getting an 8 day break, whereas the winner of the Broncos Dragons on Saturday get the shorter turnaround and play Friday next week after a 6 day break. I Would have thought it should be the other way around and both would get a weeks break. NRL= No Real Logic.

Was this all caused as the Melbourne NRL Semi they were force to put on the Saturday night to avoid clashing with the AFL Semi on the Friday night at the MCG.

The other AFL semi will be played Saturday afternoon in Melb, so the NRL had no other option but put the NRL Melbourne semi on the Saturday night (not clasing with the AFL)?

It does advantage Manly and also the GF is we win Preliminary Final !
