It is probably more difficult to predict the wooden spoon recipient than the premiership winner!

I noticed all the teams that finished well last year had mobile offloading forwards & in form dynamic halves. I think these features will be important for final eight contenders in 2021.

I have no real idea who the eight will be, but I think the Sharks, Knights and maybe the Eels will slip down the ladder. Several bottom ranking teams from last year have improved rosters, e.g. Cowboys, Dogs, Warriors & Tigers. The Dogs might surprise. However, I think the Titans will be the team to climb the ladder - some real stars in their squad & Holbrook appears to be a very good coach.

The top 8 depends a lot on injury tolls etc. what looks obvious to me, at this stage, is spoon awardee. Saints. Look who they let go (2 SOO quality forwards), look who they extended contract , look who they tried to sign & their new coach will take years to get team playing to his style. Some good players are likely run out the door before this happens.
